Bernie Turnbull
Lead Tenor

A Gospel background in his early teens led Bernie to form a street corner group
called The Crescents, who merged with The Larados in 1956.
In 1957 Bernie wrote and sang lead on their
first release, "Bad Bad Guitar Man".
It's rumored that Hank Ballard packed up and moved to New York
when he first heard Bernie sing.

So the memories have faded
but still you're on my mind
and even after all this time
I sometimes think of you
